Kefla (ケフラ) is a character in the new Dragon Ball series, she results from the Potara fusion between Kale and Caulifla . Kale and Caulifla are best friends and teamed up during the Tournament of Power by performing the fusion technique using the Potaras earrings to become Kefla. APPEARANCE OF KEFLA
Kefla is a slender young woman of average height, about like Kale's. Kefla's hairstyle is a mix of the two girls, with all the characteristics of the Saiyan fusion. Her hair is therefore spiky like Caulifla's, with bangs framing both sides of her face while the majority of her hair is held in a ponytail, like Kale's. Her facial features and eye shape are more reminiscent of Caulifla 's, but her skin tone is a middle ground between their two skin types. 👩
She wears Kale's golden bracers , but they are now the same shape as Caulifla's bracers. She also wears yellow boots, although the red part is replaced by the black of Caulifla's, and a purple belly shirt accompanied by tight purple pants in Caulifla's color scheme. In the manga, due to the effective fusion when Kale and Caulifla were Super Saiyan, she remains stuck in a permanent state of SSJ and does not keep her hair in a ponytail, which will however remain kept in a ponytail in the anime . 💈
KEFLA’S PERSONALITY
Despite being a fusion of Caulifla and Kale, Kefla's personality is seemingly identical to Caulifla's, probably because Kale is shy and subordinate by Caulifla in general. After her debut, Kefla remarks that she feels good, displaying Caulifla's dominant confidence. She also seems to possess the desires of the Saiyans of Universe 7 to want to fight even stronger opponents to become stronger herself. During her initial brawl against Goku , Kefla also displays Caulifla's arrogant attitude, calling the Super Saiyan God 's attacks "lame". Her overall confidence in such abilities also makes Kefla believe that she can beat Goku, even if he is in his SSJ Blue form. 🔥
However, despite her immense confidence in her power, Kefla seems to retain some of Caulifla's respect for Goku. Outright calling him a "worthy opponent", being delighted when Goku returned the favor by going Super Saiyan Blue, and seeming almost saddened when she thought she had defeated him easily, but smiled when he stood up after taking a powerful hit . 👊🏻
Additionally, Kefla seemed to be even more eager and excited when Son Goku managed to reactivate his Ultra Instinct state against her. UNIVERSE SURVIVAL SAGA
In the anime, thanks to the Potara earrings given to Caulifla and Kale as a last resort, they assume the Potara fusion just before being eliminated by Goku in his SSJ God form. During Kefla's debut, she returns to the ring and after showing her power, Goku shows extreme worry on his face, noticing that Kefla had a considerable energy supply. Wanting to test her new power, Kefla shows off her immense speed, enough to catch the Saiyan completely off guard. 🚄
Kefla will then put additional pressure on Goku, forcing Goku to no longer prioritize his stamina and transform into Super Saiyan Blue. To combat this, Kefla then becomes a Super Saiyan herself. One of Kefla's attacks will later force Goku to deploy his Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken form. Kefla then defeats Goku with a surprise attack and prepares to eliminate him, but is cornered when Goku suddenly regains his godlike state, Ultra Instinct. ✨
Kefla will respond by powering up, transforming into a Super Saiyan 2, her power impressing everyone, to the point where she claims she could destroy an entire universe in one hit. She proceeds to attack Goku, who dodges all of her attacks and lands a hit on her. Goku then surprises Kefla with a barrage of punches and sends her packing. Kefla then continues to block Goku's punches, only to be kicked out after trying to attack him, she then becomes enraged and begins to power up and generate a ki and lightning attack . Goku manages to dodge most of her attacks, although he was lightly hit twice by her energy, so he begins charging a Kamehameha while dodging Kefla's attacks. 🤜🏻
He then jumps in the air towards her, and she will throw him that he won't be able to dodge in the air. She charges up a powerful ki blast and fires it in her direction, Goku dodges it to Kefla's surprise, and he takes the opportunity to hit her point blank. Her imperfect Ultra Instinct coupled with her Kamehameha throws her out of the arena and shatters her earrings , ending her fusion. 🧬

In the Dragon Ball Super manga , Caulifla and Kale merge to stop Kale's rampage and since they are Super Saiyans, Kefla is automatically created in Super Saiyan form . She then fights Team Universe 11. Kefla then fires a ki blast at Goku and Jiren , but is intercepted by Gohan , who challenges her instead. As they fight, Kefla gains an advantage over Gohan and mocks him by asking if he's sure he doesn't need to transform into a Super Saiyan. 👯
But Gohan claims he doesn't need it and chooses to evolve as a human rather than a Saiyan. Kefla and Gohan fight to the point of exhaustion. She and Gohan, reaching their limit, they rush towards each other for a final attack, throwing a punch that knocks them out of the arena, eliminating them from the Tournament. 👊🏻

After Vegeta and Future Trunks force the Core Area Warriors android twins, Oren and Kamin , from their hosts, Caulifla and Kale, the two female Saiyans merge using Shin 's Potara earrings to become Kefla in order to take revenge for having been possessed.
