THE APPEARANCE OF CELL.
Depending on his current transformation, Cell's appearance is different .
In his very first form, Cell is a larva that resembles a large cicada with four legs. It also has long, V-shaped horns on its head. 🦗
When it grows, it appears in its imperfect form. He is now humanoid and is fully capable of standing. It strongly resembles an insect , especially in its mouth, its skin and its stinger. It also has wings, similar to those of a beetle. Its tail is very long and it can absorb people's lives with its stinger.
When it absorbs C17, it reaches its so-called Semi-Perfect form. His wings then disappear and he becomes much more muscular in appearance. Its horns are now directed upwards to form a sort of crown. His face is particular because of his voluminous mouth and his absence of a nose. Despite this, we begin to distinguish a human face, Cell moves away from his insect part. Feet lose their toes and now look like shoes. The part that changes the least remains its tail, which it will use to absorb C18 . 🤔
Following this, Cell reaches his final stage: his perfect form. His face becomes rather normal, with a nose and a mouth. Its tail is completely retracted behind its two large wings. Its size decreases slightly compared to its second instar. It retains shoe-shaped feet and its horns remain pointed. Several purple stripes are present on each side of his face, just like Frieza in his first three forms. 📖
Cell is also capable of taking on a very muscular form just like Super Trunks, but he avoids it so as not to lose speed.
Finally, Cell reaches a Super Perfect stage near the end of the saga. His appearance is identical to his Perfect Form, but he now possesses an electrified aura just like Super Saiyan 2. He is also capable of moving instantly like Son Goku .
THE PERSONALITY OF CELL.
Cell is a fairly original antagonist due to his unique personality. This is influenced by the character traits from the fighters present in its DNA. Namely: Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Frieza mainly. Thanks to this, Cell knows their weaknesses and can use them during fights. It should be noted that depending on his stage of transformation, Cell's personality changes radically. ☝
In his early days, Cell is determined to accomplish his goals. He is cautious, cunning, devious, calculating and strategist . He knows full well that he is not yet strong enough to triumph over his adversaries and he does not hesitate to flee by masking his aura.
In his second form, we see a much more brutal side emerge from Cell. He is less strategic and uses his raw strength to defeat his opponents. When things go wrong, he becomes impulsive and thoughtless, losing his ability to think rationally. However, it must be recognized that he retains a certain degree of strategy, especially when he decides to exploit Vegeta 's arrogance to manipulate him. This action will allow it to absorb C18. He tells Vegeta that in his ultimate form, the prince of the saiyans would have no chance of defeating her. Angry, Vegeta lets him absorb C18 . 😱
In his perfect form, Cell benefits from all the qualities of the fighters with whom he shares his DNA . Cell's story is a long quest to achieve what he calls perfection . In its imperfect form, it irremediably pursues its objective. He wants more than anything to discover what the perfection that has been planned for him is. He is therefore initially very cautious and cunning . He is indeed weaker than cyborgs 17 and 18, so he must surprise them with a surprise effect. He must first absorb the energy of many humans in order to gain power. 💪
Obviously, imperfect Cell still shows himself to be arrogant and narcissistic at times. He reveals his plan to Piccolo because he knows he has won in advance.
Once he reaches the second form, Cell no longer cares about absorbing the vitality of other creatures. He becomes solely obsessed with finding C18 . When he is in extreme trouble, he literally loses his cool and starts destroying islands in order to force C18 out of hiding . He doesn't even imagine for a moment that he can kill her by doing this.
Once he achieved the perfect form, Cell accomplished what he was created to do. He even admits that killing Son Goku doesn't interest him that much. So he decides to organize a tournament to show everyone who is the strongest. 👊
It is amusing to recognize several qualities in him, such as politeness. But he is also sadistic like Frieza and enjoys seeing people terrorized. According to author Akira Toriyama , the idea of organizing the Cell Games came from his Piccolo DNA. And indeed, the demon Piccolo does the same to terrorize the world population by appearing on television. He has dark sides coming from the demon Piccolo, Vegeta and Frieza . 😈
When he returns to his perfect form, his aura overflows with power and Cell's ego is even greater. He loses his mind slightly at times and provokes Gohan with pleasure. He does not hesitate to launch a devastating attack that could destroy the solar system for the sole purpose of defeating Gohan .
After coming close to death, Cell reaches ultra-perfect form and thinks he is immortal. He truly believes that he cannot be defeated because he is the embodiment of perfection. He reminds us of Frieza during this passage.

BIOGRAPHY OF CELL.
THE ORIGINS: THE CREATION OF THE CELL PROJECT.
Cell as we know him actually comes from another timeline. He comes from the future and he uses a time machine. In his reality, C17 and C18 no longer exist . He is therefore forced to go back in order to find them and access his perfect form. Cell is forced to return to the state of an egg, then a larva. He goes back in time 4 years before the events of the cyborg saga because he needs time to evolve and arrive at his first imperfect form . 👍
Once transformed into this form, his skin shed and he emerged from the ground. He will begin his quest for ascension and will seek to gain power. He therefore decides to absorb the lives of many humans. He exterminates several cities.
Cell's existence will be revealed when Bulma notices the presence of a second time machine . Trunks and Gohan go to investigate and discover Cell's ship, as well as the rest of his egg and his skin.
Cell was created by Dr. Gero's computer in order to create the perfect fighter. His mission ? Absorb the C17 and C18 androids in order to become the ultimate warrior , capable of killing Goku and avenging the Red Ribbon Army. 🤜
THE SAGA OF CELL.
After wiping out the population of Ginger Town, Cell crosses paths with Piccolo . The namek calls Cell a monster. His ki is also very strange. The richest man in town is in Cell's hands and begs Piccolo for help. The insect-like humanoid sticks its stinger and absorbs all of its energy. Piccolo is shocked, especially since Cell threatens him by calling his name. The namek wonders how he knows his name. Cell claims to be his brother and Piccolo demands an explanation of his real identity. The fight begins and the namek intends to defeat his target . 💀
Piccolo declares that he is disappointed by the power of his opponent, he expected better. Cell retorts that he's not too bad of a fighter, but he'll never be able to defeat him once he achieves perfect form.
Piccolo understands why Cell is absorbing people's energy, he needs to strengthen himself. He wants to understand why Cell used a machine to come here. Then, he begins charging a Kamehameha , causing Piccolo to be astonished. He manages to dodge it but is caught by surprise. Cell plants his stinger in Piccolo's arm and absorbs his life energy. The namek breaks free and pretends to be in trouble. Cell reveals his plan to him because he is sure of his victory. 📝
After listening to his entire story about his conception and plan to hunt down and absorb the cyborgs, Piccolo regrows his injured arm. The namek explains to him that he has no chance of winning the fight . Cell, aware of the reality of things, praises Piccolo for his cunning and tactics. He also understands that the being before him is the result of Piccolo and Kami merging. There is bad news in all of this. Cell therefore deduces that the dragon balls have become simple ordinary stones again and that no one can be resurrected. ✨
Krillin and Trunks from the future arrive on the scene. Cell is surprised by Trunks' power and deduces that he is an alternate version of his timeline. Krillin asks why Cell's ki resembles Goku's . The explanation is simple, Cell was created with DNA from Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Piccolo and King Cold.
Cell is not an idiot and he knows very well that there is absolutely nothing he can do at the moment. He therefore decides to retreat and absorb more energy. Piccolo laughs and says he won't let him escape. Cell undertakes a perfect escape plan by claiming he will absorb C17 and C18. He ends his speech by biting the sun . This technique blinds Piccolo, Krillin and Trunks and allows Cell to flee discreetly by camouflaging his aura. 👍
While crossing a nearby forest, he laughs at his escape and at the stupidity of his adversaries. He realizes that for the moment, it is useless to confront the Z fighters. It therefore goes in search of energy by absorbing numerous prey. He heads to a neighboring town to feed. He will sneak past Vegeta and notice the difference with his reality. The prince of the saiyans did not die against the cyborgs and he seems much stronger in this dimension. The challenge will be huge and Cell aspires to become perfect as quickly as possible.
He does the same for a little while. It attacks hard in one place then disappears within a few minutes. Piccolo and Ten Shin Han continue to hunt him down to prevent him from continuing his merciless work. 😨
Trunks from the future and Krillin have the idea of going to destroy Cell in the current timeline while he is harmless. In the anime, he fights Krillin and almost manages to absorb him! Thanks to Piccolo and Ten Shin Han, Cell will be forced to flee and camouflage himself once again.
Finally, after absorbing the vitality of several tens of thousands of human people, Cell decides to hunt down the cyborgs . He finds Piccolo and C17 fighting hard. The battle ends in a tie as everyone decides to consider the Cell threat as priority. Dr. Gero's creation also notices the presence of C16 , entirely robotic and concludes that it is an older model. He doesn't care much, thinking he's not a big threat. 😅
Cell begins to display his power and it seems obvious that he is now stronger than everyone. He rushes towards C17 to grab it but Piccolo defends him. Cell explains to the cyborgs why he was created and that he plans to absorb them into himself. He tries to convince them through dialogue, claiming that together they will form a perfect being, Dr. Gero 's best creation. However, C17 responds that he is already the most powerful. Cell makes him understand that with or without his agreement, he will be absorbed.
C16 intervenes and orders C17 to retreat. He explains that if Cell manages to become perfect , he will be a threat to the entire universe. C17 lets his ego win and retorts that there is nothing to fear: he is the best. Cell attacks and easily defeats Piccolo who is already weakened. He gets rid of him by knocking him out and rushes towards C17. 😱
The fight is over and victory goes to Cell, who is preparing to absorb C17 . C16 decides to intervene by claiming that his power is equivalent to that of Cell. The fight rages between the two warriors, the stinger is ineffective because C16 is entirely robotic and has no traditional life force. C16 takes the opportunity to grab his tail and tear it off . This is completely unnecessary however, as Cell possesses the ability to regenerate, just like Piccolo. As long as his brain is intact, he can bring other parts of his body back to life. ✨
C16 understands that he must completely destroy his opponent and reduce him to dust. Cell hides underground to escape radars. He will subsequently reappear to surprise C17 and absorb him . His power becomes considerable and he is superior to everyone. He continues to track C16 and C18 to prevent them from fleeing.
It significantly damages C16 and begins to approach C18 . The latter warns him that if he comes any closer, she will initiate the self-destruction process. Cell tries to use his ruse by using C17's voice. However, she is not fooled and notes inconsistencies in Cell's speech. 🤔
The plan fails and Dr. Gero's terrible creation decides to attack C18 anyway. He relies on speed to keep him from destroying himself. However, Ten Shin Han steps in to cover C18's escape. The Earth fighter will use several Kikoho of rare violence to surprise Cell. This act of bravery almost cost him his life and a large part of the landscape was destroyed. Cell didn't take enough damage to be in danger, but he lost track of C18 because of this diversion.
Cell is furious with Ten Shin Han and decides to finish him off in revenge. But Goku intervenes by teleporting alongside his friend. Cell then meets Goku for the first time. The Saiyan uses his teleportation technique to flee with his two friends. ✨

Our heroes' priority will now be to find C18 in order to prevent Cell from reaching his final form.
Cell continues to relentlessly hunt C18. He travels the archipelago and threatens to destroy the islands one by one if C18 does not show up. Getting no response, he carries out his threat. He is interrupted by Vegeta, who exits the Spirit and Time Chamber . The prince of the saiyans is terribly powerful and he calls himself Super Vegeta.
The fight is one-sided, Cell can't do anything. He becomes enraged at his helplessness and states that if he obtained his ultimate form, he would be able to triumph very easily. Vegeta laughs and lets his arrogance get the better of him. He agrees to let Cell find C18 in order to continue the fight. Trunks strongly opposes this project and his father prevents him from defending C18. 👊
Cell manages to take advantage of this confusion and once again uses the sun bite technique to dazzle everyone. It reappears behind C18 and absorbs it. He thus attains his perfect form .
Krillin is furious and with Trunks, he rushes straight towards Cell in order to avenge C18 . Cell is busy admiring his new body and completely ignores his opponents. He gives Krillin a little kick and the latter is propelled across the island, almost dead . Vegeta remains true to himself and does not seem impressed by this new form. He wants to resume the fight. Cell is having fun and not actually fighting. The prince of the saiyans begins to realize the mistake he made because his opponent seems absolutely untouchable. Cell responds with a kick and sends Vegeta flying against the cliff. He taunts him by thanking him for letting him absorb C18 . 😟
Vegeta taunts Cell so that he doesn't dodge his next attack, the Final Flash . He charges his attack for several seconds. The attack is overpowering but does not do serious damage to Cell. In addition, thanks to Piccolo's cells, the little he suffers is regenerated. Cell counterattacks and KOs Vegeta. 👊
Now it's up to Trunks to take over. He triggers his transformation into Super Trunks and takes on a very muscular appearance. It seems that he is indeed stronger than Cell in terms of power. However, he is very slow and his strength is of no use as he is unable to touch Cell.
Cell is superior and explains to Trunks that he plans to organize a tournament in ten days. Everyone can participate and will have to face Cell in 1vs1. Then, he decides to leave the area, leaving Trunks all alone, in shock.
Our heroes will begin planning their strategy to be able to face and defeat Cell in the tournament. One of their main assets is the chamber of mind and time. A place where time passes more slowly. For example, a 24-hour day on Earth corresponds to a year in this dimension. Goku and Gohan train there to gain power. 💪
Everyone goes to train, while Cell designs the ring for the future tournament. The earthlings are telepathically informed of the event and begin to panic. They will send their champion to face Cell: Hercules Satan .

The days pass and the tournament approaches. Cell remains impassive, waiting for the final hour.
Goku and Gohan emerge from the room of spirit and time and they seem to have acquired new inner power. They are able to remain super saiyan without being upset.
On the day of the tournament, the whole team presents itself in front of Cell, as well as a television crew accompanied by Mr. Satan.
Earth's number one intends to go first. He demonstrates his strength by breaking bricks. Then, he enters the ring and attacks Cell relentlessly . The latter obviously does not take any damage. After several minutes, Cell decides to put an end to this joke and brushes Satan aside. The earthlings are in shock and their champion explains that he accidentally slipped. They'll let Goku and his friends fight for now. 😅
And besides, Son Goku will open the ball by facing Cell in 1vs1 . The two warriors demonstrate great combativeness and take turns launching devastating techniques at each other. After a long exchange of blows, Goku decides to let Gohan face Cell. He even offers a senzu to his enemy so that the fight is fair.
He explains to Cell that Gohan has a hidden power and that it must be angry to trigger it.
Cell is really curious and wants to see this power with his own eyes. He confronts Son Gohan and dominates him. He provokes him and tries to make him furious . Goku's friends do not understand this choice and fear that Gohan will die. His father remains confident and says nothing. 🤫
Cell decides to change strategy to annoy his opponent. He gives life to several Cell Juniors , all of whom are extremely powerful. He launches them to attack Goku and his friends. Gohan watches all his loved ones being massacred by the violent blows of these little blue creatures. He begins to become enraged but the decisive moment occurs a few moments later. C16 following a fight lost his body, only his head remained. He asks Mr. Satan to send him in front of Cell and Gohan. 👍
The earthling accepts and C16 makes his little speech in front of Gohan, before being mercilessly crushed by Cell with a kick. This event triggers all the rage in Goku's son and he reaches the Super Saiyan 2 stage. He easily sweeps away all the Cell Juniors and decides to exterminate Cell.
The fight rages and Cell is dominated. He eventually spits out C18 and transforms back into his second form. He loses his temper and decides to activate the self-destruct system, which will wipe out the entire planet. Gohan is terrified that he didn't kill him instead. Goku decides to teleport with Cell to Master Kaio 's planet in order to avoid the planet's destruction. 💥
This is done and Cell explodes, killing Goku and Kaio . However, his brain miraculously survives the explosion and he manages to regenerate into his third form. Thanks to the DNA of the saiyans, he becomes even more powerful because he came close to death. And better yet, he manages to master instant transmission and can teleport wherever he wants. ✨
He returns to the scene of the fight and taunts Gohan, after seriously damaging his arm. Subsequently, the two enemies will each send a Kamehameha at full power to each other. Cell channels all his strength, just like Gohan who also benefits from Son Goku's strength. The impact is ultra violent and Cell is literally reduced to dust . Gohan and his friends leave, leaving Mr. Satan alone at the scene of the fight. The earthlings therefore think that it was he who defeated Cell. 😂
